The components of Series 1000 have been assorted with a view to offering customers a solution that is as cost-effective as possible and thus economically attractive in the area of fire detection in rail vehicles. Where the requirements for technical flexibility are only low, this range of products offers an adequate alternative when the purpose is to monitor different sections in rail vehicles under fire protection aspects. System modules such as smoke detectors, spot or linear temperature indicators and evaluation units of different design are made available with this product family 1000 in conformity with the specific application.

Although the focus is on optimised costs, all components meet the railway-relevant standards EN 50155 and 50121 as well as the high quality standard of FOGTEC Rail Systems.

Even this generation of products allows to connect the different individual operating statuses of fire alarm systems via interface to train control.
This also confirms that high performance rates in fire alarm technology do not necessarily depend on or require high financial investments.
